Privacy & participation.
This community event connects local movement with the climate conversation during COP31. It is an independent initiative, not an official UNFCCC event. Organised with Global Youth Coalition; privacy requests can be raised through the GYC website. You can also delete your record directly using your private registration link.
What we collect
Your name, age, city, country, nationality, activity category, and any club, group participants, organisation nomination, contact details or evidence you provide. Contact details are optional. We use these details to administer the event, review evidence and consider shoutouts. This form does not subscribe you to marketing.
What becomes public
Only reviewed activities contribute to the public map. Country, city, category and participant counts are public; map pins use approximate country locations. Names remain private unless you enter an optional public display name. Nature photos are public only if you give publication consent and an organiser approves the entry. Screenshots and group evidence are always private. We do not publish your age, nationality, email, WhatsApp, full participant list or exact activity route.
Your images & your private link
The website resizes and re-encodes uploaded images to remove image metadata before upload. Check the visible content yourself: remove private routes, addresses, faces or other sensitive information that you don’t want the organisers to see. You must have permission from everyone in submitted photos and for every group member’s details. A parent or guardian must provide permission for minors.
Your private registration link gives access to your record and uploads. Keep it safe and do not share it publicly. We store a hash of the edit key on the server. No account, marketing cookies or analytics tracking is used. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the usual network information when your browser requests them.
Updates, withdrawal & retention
Use your private link to update or permanently delete your registration and evidence. Clearing the photo consent checkbox withdraws publication permission; you may also remove the photo entirely. Updates remove previous verification until the entry is reviewed again. Event registration records and uploaded evidence are scheduled for deletion by 31 December 2026. Aggregated, non-identifying event totals may be retained.
Event dates & verification
Move between 14 and 16 November 2026, with Sunday 15 November as the main day. Submit evidence by 21 November at 23:59 Türkiye time (UTC+3). The run distance is 3.1 miles; walk 3.1 km; cycle 9.61 miles; other activities 31 minutes or 3.1 distance units. Choose safe surroundings and a movement suitable for you.
Submitting an entry does not guarantee verification or a shoutout. Organisers review evidence, eligibility and duplicate entries. Group leaders list all participants and provide group evidence; members should not submit a separate individual entry for the same group activity. Groups must be non-profit. Nominated organisations must be non-commercial and non-partisan, with a checkable public website or social profile. Recognition is subject to evidence review.
